- Photographs of existing jewellery or hands (for design purposes)
- Payment and banking details (processed securely via EFT or card machine; we do not store full card numbers)
- Correspondence and WhatsApp/email history
- Images or video of you wearing or collecting your finished jewellery (only with your explicit consent for marketing)

4. Why We Process Your Personal Information (Purpose)
We only process your information where we have a lawful basis:
- To discuss designs and provide accurate quotations
- To manufacture and deliver your jewellery
- To process payments and issue invoices
- To arrange insured shipping or courier collection
- To provide after-sales service (resizing, cleaning, repairs)
- To comply with legal obligations (SARS, FICA, insurance requirements)
- With your explicit consent: to feature your jewellery or hand images on our website, Instagram, or other marketing (you may withdraw consent at any time)
5. Who We Share Your Information With
We only share information where strictly necessary:
- Couriers and insurance companies (name, address, phone, value of parcel)
- GIA or other gemmological laboratories (for certification purposes)
- Professional photographers or videographers (only with your consent)
- Our accountants and auditors (invoices and payment records)
- Regulatory authorities when legally required
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
6. Data Security
- All digital files are stored on encrypted devices and password-protected cloud storage (South African or EU-based servers only).
- Physical records are kept in a locked studio accessible only to Brian Bosman and authorised staff.
- Card payments are processed through YOCO or PayFast (both Level-1 PCI DSS compliant); we never see or store your full card details.
- WhatsApp messages are end-to-end encrypted.
7. How Long We Keep Your Information
- Design files, CADs, photographs, and correspondence are kept permanently as part of our portfolio and for future resizing/repair reference (unless you request deletion).
- Financial records are kept for 7 years as required by SARS.
- Marketing images are removed immediately upon request.
8. Cookies & Website Analytics
Our website uses only essential and performance cookies via Google Analytics 4 (anonymised IP) and Meta Pixel to understand visitor behaviour. No personal data is collected that can identify you without your consent. You may disable cookies in your browser settings at any time.
9. Your Rights Under POPIA
You have the right to:

- Request correction or deletion of your personal information
- Object to processing or withdraw consent for marketing images
